Last fall, reports from a number of locations around the Bay suggested that the water seemed to be much clearer than average. Several scientists from around the Bay, including NOAA, turned to scientific observations to see what the data revealed.
Data from CBIBS and NOAA Satellites was shared at a January meeting of the Chesapeake Bay Program's Scientific, Technical Assessment, and Reporting Workgroup. Their presentations are linked to here:
