Are you a rising college junior or senior interested in CBIBS who has some top-notch information technology skills?
The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office is offering a 12-week paid Information Technology internship this summer to develop a web-based CBIBS "Dashboard" to provide the CBIBS field team with easy access to information to help them take care of the buoys more effectively and efficiently. It's a terrific opportunity to learn about and contribute to the study of water quality and other data in the nation's largest estuary.
NOAA is offering three other internships this summer as well; those positions will focus on habitat and fisheries assessment; ecosystem science and synthesis; and hydrologic modeling.
